Η Γουόντερ Γούμαν (αγγλικά: Wonder Woman) είναι μια φανταστική σούπερ ηρωίδα των κόμικ της DC Comics. Δημιουργήθηκε από τον Γουίλιαμ Μάρστον (William Marston) μαζί με την σύζυγό του, την Ελίζαμπεθ Χόλογουεί Μάρστον (Elizabeth Holloway Marston) και τον Χάρι Πίτερ (Harry Peter). Η πρώτη εμφάνιση της Γουόντερ Γούμαν έγινε στο τεύχος #18 του περιοδικού All Star Comics τον Δεκέμβριο του 1941 σε δευτερεύουσα ιστορία του τεύχους (πάνω εικόνα αριστερά), και μετά από λίγο σε κεντρικό ρόλο και δικό της εξώφυλλο τον Ιανουάριο 1942 του sensation comics#1 (πάνω εικόνα δεξιά).

Στην καταγωγή είναι Αμαζόνα με προέλευση από Θεμίσκυρα. Στην πατρίδα της ονομάζεται Πριγκίπισσα Νταϊάνα της Θεμισκύρας, ενώ πέρα από τη πατρίδα της ονομάζεται Νταϊάνα Πρινς, που είναι και η πολιτική & μυστική της ταυτότητα.

Στις πρώτες ιστορίες λέγεται ότι γεννήθηκε άμωμα από την μητέρα της την Βασίλισσα Ιππολύτη και η θεά Αθηνά της έδωσε ζωή ενώ οι Ολύμπιοι θεοί της έδωσαν παράλληλα και υπεράνθρωπες δυνάμεις. 

Είναι από τις πρώτες γυναίκες υπερηρωίδες που έχουν εμφανιστεί στην σύγχρονη εποχή.

Η Diana απεικονίζεται ως μια αριστοτεχνική αθλήτρια, ακροβάτισσα, μαχήτρια και στρατηγός, εκπαιδευμένη και έμπειρη σε πολλές αρχαίες και σύγχρονες μορφές ένοπλης και άοπλης μάχης, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των αποκλειστικών πολεμικών τεχνών των Αμαζόνων. Παρουσιάζεται ως ιδιαίτερα εκπαιδευμένη στη χρήση των Αμαζονίων βραχιολιών της για να σταματήσει τις σφαίρες και να ξέρει να χρησιμοποιεί το χρυσό λάσο που έχει στην κατοχή της για να καταφέρνει να αποσπά την αλήθεια σε όποιον τυλιχτεί μέσα σ'αυτό. Ο Μπάτμαν την αποκάλεσε κάποτε η «καλύτερη σώμα με σώμα μαχήτρια στον κόσμο". Η σύγχρονη εκδοχή του χαρακτήρα της χρησιμοποιεί και ωστική κυματική δύναμη όταν το κρίνει αναγκαίο. Έχει επίσης γνώση στην ψυχολογία, όπως κάνουν οι Αμαζόνες αδερφές της. Πρωτοεμφανίστηκε στην ταινία 'Batman Vs Superman' στις 24 Μαρτίου 2016 και η πρώτη ταινία της κυκλοφόρησε στις 15 Μαΐου 2017 (2η εικόνα δεξιά)

Wonder Woman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character is a founding member of the Justice League, and an ambassador of the Amazon people. The character first appeared in All Star Comics #8 in October 1941 (picture on top left) and her first solo feature in Sensation Comics #1, January 1942 (picture on top right). In her homeland, the island nation of Themyscira, her official title is Princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta. When blending into the society outside of her homeland, she adopts her civilian identity Diana Prince.

Wonder Woman was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G. Peter. Marston's wife, Elizabeth, and their life partner, Olive Byrne are credited as being his inspiration for the character's appearance. Marston's comics featured his ideas on DISC theory and the character drew a great deal of inspiration from early feminists, and especially from birth control pioneer Margaret Sanger; in particular, her piece "Woman and the New Race".

Wonder Woman's origin story relates that she was sculpted from clay by her mother Queen Hippolyta and given life by Aphrodite, along with superhuman powers as gifts by the Greek gods. In recent years, DC changed her background with the revelation that she is the daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta, jointly raised by her mother and her aunts Antiope and Menalippe. The character has changed in depiction over the decades, including briefly losing her powers entirely in the 1970s; by the 1980s, artist George Perez gave her a muscular look and emphasized her Amazonian heritage. She possesses an arsenal of advanced technology, including the Lasso of Truth, a pair of indestructible bracelets, a tiara which serves as a projectile, and, in older stories, a range of devices based on Amazon technology.

Her first appearance was in the movie 'Batman Vs Superman' on MARCH 24, 2016, and her first movie was released on May 15, 2017 (2nd picture on the right).
